One of the easiest ways to get the lens out of the vial is to place the palm of your hand over the top of the vial, turn the vial over and shake the vial so the lens is against your hand. Then "pour" the lens into the palm of your hand. The saline can then be poured back into the vial leaving the lens in your hand. The motion segment shows this.
Another way to remove the lens is to ΓÇ£fishΓÇ¥ it out with tweezers. Usually you have to put just one side of the tweezers into the vial and pull the lens up the side of the vial. This usually takes longer and could damage the lens.
